Great weekend stay

Beautiful house with great river access. Had a great time on our 5 year wedding anniversary. We only had issues with the codes to the house (press # at the gate before code) and the instructions opening the front door (turn the lock handle) but other than that the house was perfect for the weekend.

River get away

Very lovely house. The only thing we did not like was the deck was in the sun from 10:00am - 7:00pm. It was hot and could not enjoy the deck. Could use an awning or some umbrellas.

Heavenly view

Loved the aesthetic and the view was divine. It is so nice to see the new growth coming in. The beds were very firm but everything else was perfect. Reminder “the nest” and the “river house” are separate rentals, which is fine … just beware the guests of one may have a different idea of what a “river retreat” means. If you don’t mind a firm mattress and get no or good neighbor’s this is the place for you.

Just Say No

Place was not clean on arrival - sheets in piles all over the home, used towels on the floors in the bathrooms, unmade beds, dishes in the sink. That was just "one" of many issues to happen at this property ... I was on a long drive to reach this destination. Check-in time was 4 PM. Right after 4 PM, I received a call from an unknown number and did not pick up (I never do). Apparently the property management company was calling - AFTER CHECK-IN TIME - to let me know the property had not been cleaned and that they had found another place for me to stay that was several miles away. Anyway, unfortunately, I didn't get that message. So I arrived to my planned destination, exhausted after hours and hours of driving only to find not only an unclean home, but also the following: 1) Gate code was not accurate 2) WiFi information was completely wrong 3) TV was not working / not set up to work w/the WiFi 4) EV charger was not compatable with my car 5) No obvious way to turn on the electric "stove" / heater 6) Very little in terms of amenities in the kitchen - just a few pods of coffee and Sweet & Low sweetener. NOTHING else. Pots/pans very basic. I got lots of idiotic "bot" replies to my complaints. I'd write more here, but I'm limited in space. I did speak w/1 human who offered me a $100 refund. In short, you can do much better staying away from this property & management company.

Beautiful stay

Overall beautiful place and location. However, a few things could have gone smoother. The gate code provided was incorrect to get into the property. Luckily we guessed another variation of the one provided to gain access. we were there for thanksgiving and the propane for the gas grill was empty. We drove to town to fill up the tank before dinner. .

Arrival text included wrong code for entry gate. Customer service confirmed with incorrect code. Had to move character to get correct code. Coffee maker broken on arrival. Nice river front location and clean unit.
