"The property was lively and comfortable and just a short walk to the train station for Venice one stop away. The staff was excellent and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. "Reception doesn't work if you don't call before. I booked in the morning and arrive at 3:00 pm, but must wait for owner for 3 hours. The number od phone registered at hotels.com is from secretary inside the apartment and is not always available because there is not always anyone. At first day told me I booked with breakfast, last day told me it wasn't booked with breakfast and thats gift for us."

"There is nothing negative about this hotel, the staff were unbelievable even willing to get bus times, train times nothing was a problem, the breakfast catered for everyone and the room, well, beyond clean it was spotless, the pool an added bonus and also spotless. We couldn’t have wished for a better hotel to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary."

"The room was very clean and well equipped. The building was with a locked gate so it we felt safe. We came from Treviso airport and airport bus stopped close to the property. There was also a Coop next to the stop so we were able to grab some snacks. It was easy to go to Venice island. The bus and tram stop was around the corner and they ran frequently. The only minus was that the rooms were not very soundproof and we could hear other guests. "

"I was so pleased when I entered Domus Dotti to meet Irene, the manager. She was highly communicative before my arrival and was excellent upon arrival. "The hotel is massively disappointing! The location is good, however the street outside is incredibly noisy with people crossing the bridge. We were woken up multiple times in the night due to noise. The room itself is incredibly dated, there is alot of black mould in the bathroom, up the wall and around the bath. "Conveniently near a dock for the ferry to Venice which is €13 per person (return). Has a nice pool, so on hot days can be nice to chill. LOTS OF MOSQUITOS. Me and my partner were covered by them. She had around 16 bites on her quads, and I had them all over my arms and calves. (Just from the 5min walk to our room from reception. Lots of screaming kids at night, (only there for dinner). TRANSPORT: next to nothing. Had to pay €70 for taxi transfer to and from the Venezia Mestre station. Buses...
