Amazing off grid but comfortable stay

A very well made and looked after cabin in the middle of the bush, with everything you need! We had a very comfortable stay and loved the bushwalk down to the river. Very friendly hosts and sweet doggies too! We’ll definitely come back (and will bring more mozzie/sandfly repellent!)

A great combination of privacy, off-grid, cosy, and in nature on one hand, and ... all the facilities you need, and host advice and connection if you want / need that on the other. Quiet, peaceful, restorative, while all being very accessible! Highly recommended (and I'm looking forward to getting back again)!

Totally awesome place would go back in a heart beat we had a great time as there is plenty to do in that area. Just one thing, take plenty of mosquito repellent as you will need it. However apart from that this place has everything you will ever need so we would highly recommend a stay their.

Safe Haven in the bush

A beautiful property created and cared for with love and commitment to health and the environment . Make sure to arrive early enough to enjoy a bush walk to the river. Exceptional wood features in the accommodation … a lot to look at and appreciate.

Sweet chill-out spot on the West Coast

Had a great stay and ended up adding 3 nights to our booking. Hosts are great - relaxed and welcoming. Swimming hole close by and really well positioned to explore the Charleston - Westport area coastline, rivers and hills. So much to do in this area in the outdoors and the weather was mint as it often is on the coast. The cabin is a lovely simple space - slept heaps :-) We will be back for sure.

Beautiful location and special accomodation

Beaconstone Eco lodge is an excellent base to explore the surrounding West Coast. The mountain view hut and facilities are exceptionally clean and well-maintained and the property has a lovely feel to it. The nearby river swimming spot is wonderful and with Westport nearby it's easy to pick up supplies or head out to eat. Things to note would be that the mosquitoes can be quite relentless so repellant is an absolute must! Otherwise, it was a great spot to relax in the hammocks, read and relax with a nice private BBQ area with a beautiful view :)

Amazing stay!

This place exceeded expectations! It is a gorgeous set up, the room is so thoughtfully put together and tidy, and surprisingly spacious! Views from the bedroom are spectacular. The kitchen is over by the ablution block which we found to be no hassle. There is an outdoor sitting area and the views/surroundings are incredible! We even took a walk through the bush, down to the river as recommended by the owners, which was just stunning. Highly recommend for a tranquil stay. Owners are very friendly. My partner and I loved staying here!
