"This large home turned out to be perfect for our group of 11 mixed family ranging from ages 9-80. There was ample space and though we are hardly professionals, an amazing chef’s kitchen. We selected the location for its size and proximity to Zermatt. That turned out to be the only downside, as it was a bus to a train and took over an hour, more because service was interrupted due to a landslide when we there. "The house was impeccable with a spacious family room and a well equipped kitchen. Lovely decks to admire the sunsets. So quiet and with gorgeous views. Comfortable beds. The owner, Walter, came to check and make sure we were happy. The property manager was very responsive for any thing. "A safe, quiet getaway for the family. Neighbors friendly and accommodating. View from windows and porch stunningly beautiful. Home very, very comfortably furnished and easy to clean up behind oneself. Access is walking up a challengingly steep hill from the Railway Station for about 10-15 minutes; difficult if you have heavy luggage or tired from a long day and arriving late at night. "We were looking for an August ski camp for my 16 year old son and Ski Zenit in Saas Fee was able to accomodate our needs. Our chalet, Le Petit Mouton, was lovely. It offered breathtaking views, was charming, very clean and comfortable. The walk to the heart of Saas Fee took about 10 minutes and the Alpin Express gondola 18 minutes.
