"It's a bit of an up-hill trek to this hotel, but totally worth the effort. This historic property sits at the base of the Matterhorn, which we could see from our balcony. It was lovely. The property is very charming, but the staff at the desk was less so. And the beds were quite hard. However, I would still highly recommend this hotel."

"Gorgeous little hotel, a real gem of a find. We had the best welcome of the week here during our train tour of Switzerland. A warm welcome and even a lovely bar of chocolate when we left. Lovely room with a balcony and just around the corner was the Matterhorn. Very generous breakfast with lots of choice and busy and attentive staff replenishing everything. Would definitely recommend. "We stayed here for 4 nights, and enjoyed the hotel. Our room (mountain view does not mean Matterhorn) was a good size, comfy beds and seating. A Kettle to make tea and coffee was appreciated. Hotel is just a 5 min walk from the train station and a supermarket, and close to many restaurants. They serve a good breakfast, as well as complimentary coffee and cake in the afternoon. Overall, good location, good sized room and good breakfast made for a pleasant stay. "

Ms. Patricia at the front desk was very sweet and helpful as was one of the young men . The room was very comfortable - the hotel was modern and beautiful. The breakfast buffet was very good with a variety of choices and excellent coffee selections from the 2 machines they had . The town was easy to navigate and we enjoyed...
