I stayed in this hotel over the weekend of F1 racing in Spa-Francorchamps. Very nice hotel in a wonderfully peaceful part of Netherlands (close to the borders with Belgium and Germany). Nice boutique hotel just across the border in Belgium and just minutes away from the beautiful Dutch city of Maastricht. The couple that run the hotel are attentive and helpful. The comfort of the room was first rate. There's a little bus near the hotel that has you in Maastricht city center in 15-20 minutes (important note: Uber doesn't operate in Belgium but the hotel will get you a cab if needed). Great Local hotel near Maastricht, NL, some great local sightseeing, American Cemetery from WWII nearby. Lot of local people in the restaurant and Bar in evenings.

We were greeted and cared for excellently during our stay at the Hotel Scheepers.

The hotel is delightful, the staff excellent, the location perfect (especially if you are an Andre Rieu fan and are fortunate enough to be there when he is scheduled to perform), and the city amazing. We had planned to arrive before 6:00 p.m., but our GPS had a mind of it's own; thus we were late from Amsterdam. However, Catharina stayed late, called to check on us, and when we told her we were lost trying to find the hotel, she stood on the sidewalk in front to show us the way. She helped us...

The unit was spotless, well-maintained and well-appointed for our extended stay. The property is in a great location, easy to access and the staff was exceptionally helpful. We’ll definitely visit again!

The room was clean and neat. Location was perfect for us and a bonus that they had their own parking garage.

The property is beautiful and the room lovely and comfortable. I had a great facial treatment at the spa and spent a few hours after relaxing in the facility. I like that they require hotel guests to reserve times to visit the spa so that it does not become crowded. Unfortunately, we were not able to dine at the restaurant, as it was not open while we were there. We were able to enjoy the breakfast buffet, which was quite nice. I have been to Maastricht several times in the past and stayed in different hotels. This is the best one I stayed so far and is a very good value. First, it is close to the station. True, it is not in the old part of the city but the proximity to the station is very convenient. Drop off your bag and go.
