"Fantastic hotel right in the middle of Penrith, which is a lovely town. Hotel has parking, which is really useful as it was hard to come by in the town itself when I was there. Special thank you to Petra at reception and the housekeeping team. I had accidentally left a piece of jewellery in my room at checkout. The piece of jewellery in question is very valuable, especially for sentimental reasons. The housekeeping colleague had taken it down to reception for safe keeping, but Petra had gone the extra mile to personally call me to let me know and she had even gone to the post office to post it back to my home address. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for your care and grace. This shows the class of the hotel and its staff, and that you are in incredibly safe and caring hands when you are there. Thank you Petra and thank you George Hotel for a lovely stay. "
