"Rooms are micro but provides everything you need. If you plan on not leaving the room this hotel is not for you. Staff intereaction is minimal. Trying to get someone on the phone either before, during, and after we booked proved impossible.
Prepare to check yourself in and out via one of several kiosks by the front entrance.
Breakfast, lunch and drinks is ok and pretty much the only game in town within reasonable walking distance. The rooftop restaurant, Sushi by Bao is pretty much 100% sushi other than a handheld waygu dish @ $54 for the same amount of ground beef found in a White Castle slider. The waiter talked me out of thier Surf N Turf claiming it has even less meat topped with some sea urchin... not lobster.
The hotel is located within walking distance of most attractions. Just make sure you can handle the heat and humidity. Walking in DC is a young person's game... not for old farts like my wife and I.
We would not book again only because it wasn't our style, but could very well be yours."
