I booked this hotel based on reviews only. I went to Yelp and Expedia for reviews before I booked it. The room they gave me is quite spacious. The bed is comfortable and clean. The bathroom, although the shampoo was not coming out of the bottle, when I messaged them if they could check it, they did within 30 minutes, also clean. This hotel had only opened three weeks earlier when I visited, but it was already operating smoothly.

Great location right in city center near unique shops and restaurants. Very walkable. Room was spacious, bathroom was nice. Sweet additions like Halloween candy were unexpected treats. Very easy check-in.

Laundry and full kitchen in the apartment-style rooms were excellent. Sauna/spa/pool was a great addition.

The property charged me for parking when i stayed for 3 days which is not acceptable

What sets this hotel apart is the attention you get from the staff. When we checked in we were treated like VIPs, not in a gushy, fawning way but as if there was nothing more important at that moment than explaining things to us and trying to get us a dinner reservation. The room was immaculate and the bed was the most comfortable on our trip.

The BK motel in Petone was one of the best motels i have stayed in, the service was quick and effiecient the rooms were clean and of high stsndatds. I would reccomend this establishment to people who are wanting a private relaxing stay in Petone 5 Stars and more.

Comfortable stay close to the train station.

One of the best hostels Ive stayed at. Great decor and vibe. Lots of lounge space. Free bike rental which I used to ride to Weta Workshop. Met some cool people while hanging out there.

Room was great with space and comfort. The trip from the car park to the room wasnt the easiest with three bags to take single handedly but it was managed. Room had great facilities including the washer dryer which was great. Kitchen and fridge was very useful and the bed was very comfortable.

The room had everything we needed and was clean. The hotel restaurant was very good and the staff were pleasant. The only complaint was the noise. Outside the window it sounded like loud construction all night long. Very disturbing. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and thought it was an excellent location, and close to the car ferry dock to leave for the South Island in the AM.

Nice location: walking distance to the Railway Station and all the attractions. I received a suite and discount on food thanks to Expedia. The suite was very clean and had good amenities. The only thing that needs attention is the tiny, unstable space provided for putting soap and shampoo while taking a shower.

I don’t know what to say, really, as words would be impossible to convey the charm, beauty, and real friendliness of the proprietors! We were overnighting for the inter island ferry leaving Picton so only stayed one night but wish we had time to stay longer.
