"While the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly, beware that if there is an onsite event they do not follow the sound ordnance prohibitions of West Lake Hills. We stayed over the weekend and they had two weddings scheduled where one had music blasting until 1:30 AM on Sunday. Normally I’m a heavy sleeper, but with the windows rattling it was impossible to rest. This tarnished an otherwise great stay at Hotel Viata."

"This hotel was nice looking, but lacked in the areas that would actually make it a nice hotel. The hotel isn't bad, it is just priced above it's class, for me. I can accept some hair in the bathroom, but I would say this one had a lot more than most. Also, I kind of judge a hotel by how dirty the corners are, and oh my dog, the corners in the bathroom were disgusting. Overall, not a terrible stay, it was quiet, and it was a forgettable and uneventful experience. I was just there traveling with the kid's sports team and would have never bothered to leave a review, but this is the 3rd email asking for a review. Oh, I forgot, the elevator situation is stupid. There are no stairs and at 7PM we had to wait almost 10 minutes to get an elevator to our room! I think people were going to the restaurant, or maybe just their rooms, but it was a needless point of frustration. "

"The kitchen was well appointed, and the views were beautiful. The house is large and has a couple of distinct areas so people can spread out which would make it nice for larger families / multi families or couples. The host was an easy communicator and very responsive."

"This property was perfect for our work event. It is nicely spread out to provide different venues for meetings. The bedrooms were also quite nice and the kitchen was well stocked, perfect for working lunches. Would definitely recommend this property to others. The hosts were excellent! Thank you! "
