The Royal Lion Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"A really enjoyable stay, beautiful comfortable room, great bathroom & toiletries, breakfast was lovely & dinner in the restaurant was very good but the best thing about our whole stay was the staff, they were all so friendly & welcoming & went above and beyond to make out stay very memorable. The hotel is in a brilliant position 2 mins from the beach & shops all around, they were on site parking was a godsend as parking is in short supply in Lyme, I would definitely stay here again, if I did have a complaint the WiFi was very hit & miss & we could only get bbc on the tv but we were out most evenings so didn’t matter too much."

Lulworth Cove Inn

"Room was very clean. The bar and toilets, not very clean along walls and woodwork. The staff were lovely and very accomodating where they could be. Only one thing spoilt the trip. I had paid for breakfast, which it stated on Hotels.com would be served from 8am to 9.30. One of us had to be at work for 9 am, when we arrived we were told breakfast was 8.30-9.30 and they could give us a breakfast roll earlier, everything was locked up until 8.30 when he had to leave for work. This was annoying as we had specifically booked this hotel so that we could have breakfast and had paid for breakfast. Very annoying. The food is lovely but expensive."

Sleeping Bear Hotel Dorchester

10/10 Excellent

"Perfect stay for anyone visiting Dorchester. Hotel is super clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Parking needs to be pre-booked but there are a number of car parks close by. Hotel is 'room only' which works really well as there is no pressure to get to breakfast! Loads of choices within a 5 minute walk of the hotel which includes the 'Horse with the Red Umbrella' and the Dorset Museum. Room's are comfy and provide everything you need for your stay. There is a handy vending machine wher you can buy drinks and snacks as well as complimentary tea/coffee. The hotel has a dining room which can be used by guest to eat take-aways etc., plates and cutlery are provided. All-in-all a great hotel and very good value for money. Oh and did I mention they are dog friendly (check before you book though). Will definitely stay here again as there are many things still to see in Dorchester."

The Jubilee Hotel East- with Spa Facilities

10/10 Excellent

"I stayed here when in Weymouth for my brother's funeral. The staff (bar and reception) can't think of your names but I'm sure you will know who you are if you read this, we're so kind and caring and nothing was too much trouble. Did find a random sock in my room but hey ho lol. I didn't have an evening meal but what I saw looked dam delicious. Breakfast, everything you could ask for just a shame I didn't have a big enough appetite. Thanks for looking after me ❤️"
