Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport

"This was our first time staying at the Hyatt Place. We arrived after a long flight from the USA, and took the Hoppa from Heathrow to get there. The room was prepaid and the front desk staff was friendly. The room was clean and well organized, a bit on the smaller side, but we were only staying one night. Very very quiet. We heard absolutely no sounds and slept well. Only con was the tub/shower combo. The tub was very narrow, making it hard to stand in to shower. The shower itself was a wand attachment that only came up to my shoulder, so you had to hold it over your head to wash your hair, etc. A bit awkward. Breakfast was good and the restaurant staff was extremely welcoming. We did receive an express check out email, but got error messages when we tried to check out that way, so we had to go to the front desk. Check out was very quick, and we were able to catch the Hoppa to go back to Heathrow to pick up our rental car. We're staying here again in a week, and are looking forward to another great stay."

"What amenities? There's basically self-service and not much staff to help with check-in assistance. The room was not 100% turned around and replenished."

"This is a budget hotel. If you are willing to stay at a budget place, with a shared washroom, I'd highly recommend this place because it is so close to Paddington Station, and a quick walk through Hyde Park takes you to some of the major museums and pick-up spots for many of the tours that go out of London. The staff are lovely."

"My first two nights I was in an older room. There wasn’t even a coffee pot that was a bit of a bummer. Lots of noise and construction going on all night long the rooms without air-conditioning. You have to open up the window so it’s very noisy. Cute little bar and café on site. I moved to another room for two more nights, and that was a much better room higher up with air-conditioning bigger and worth the extra cost. With all that being said, it’s all about location, location, location, and this one has it. There’s a Mark and Spencer‘s right across the street shopping pharmacy and all the food restaurants, pubs, music, plays and comedy clubs all a 10 minute walk."
