"What a find! This beautiful hall is just perfect. Fabulous location with peacocks and lovely trails to walk in the extensive grounds. Our room had a super king bed and usual facilities. There is a spacious dining room and well stocked bar. You won't go away hungry as the food is excellent with generous portions. Very friendly and helpful staff. It's a must visit! "

"Stayed here for two nights with my friend while hiking in the area. Friendly and lovely place. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was amazing, room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view over the garden and mountains beyond. "The site where the lodge is situated is small and was quiet this week. The view of the lake and surroundings is beautiful and it was so relaxing to sit on the benches that are dotted around and take it all in. Even though we hit 2 days of dreadful weather I was happy enough to stay in the lodge and read, watch tv, relax etc. It was easy enough to get to and from Keswick and, had it not been for the awful weather, I’d have explored further."
