Beautiful grounds around the hotel Pool area was peaceful, the shower room could do with a update and the locker didnt work, but wouldnt stop us coming again. "

We had no hot water to shower in the morning and mentioned it at check out only to be told it had been rectified, but at that point it was to late as we were checking out. "Room was clean, modern and recently decorated and is great if you like wall-to-wall grey. Our room was located near the bar and stairs, so pretty noisy if you are a light-sleeper. Coffee was weak and breakfast was mediocre, firstly it ran out and then when it did arrive, it wasn't the best quality food. If you're staying on a B&B basis, you should at least get a good night's kip and a decent breakfast, but in all honesty I cannot say we had either! Overall it was reasonable value for money and...

"Good location, grounds and facilities. But for the price and a 5* hotel they were a few niggles such as the bathroom needed some bleach around the shower and sink plug hole ect. For the luxury they're advetising deep cleaning should be an obvious but didnt looked like it had been done. And masses of cobwebs around the doors to get into rooms. "

"Perfectly clean and functional. Sofa bed for my second child wasn't up to scratch and the quality of all the mattresses was pretty poor to be honest. Also the heating was on (in June) and the room was BOILING. Man working at reception couldn't have done enough for us though. Lovely service. "
