"One of the friendliest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The staff were brilliant, in every area. They couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the breakfast choice was amazing. The location was a pleasant 20 minute walk from the city centre (or only a short Uber ride away) and located adjacent to the university campus. I would certainly recommend this hotel for a stay. An enjoyable and relaxing break, well looked after by the excellent staff team."

"Loved staying here, very clean and tidy and great for the kids. Lovely breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant. Nice and quiet and a fantastic location. Only downside was the lift wasn’t working. Managed fine up two flights of stairs but with the kids and their many bags it would have been easier in the lift. And there was a slight gap under the shower screen so the bathroom floor ended up a little wet after a shower."

"We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I had booked a superior king bedroom but they had upgraded us to a suite which was so special, there was a card in the room congratulating us on our 16th anniversary. Such lovely touches to make the experience truly memorable. The bed was huge, comfortable and clean. The suite was spacious with a great view of the beautiful city of Chester. The breakfast was very tasty from the freshly squeezed orange juice to the home baked pastries. I would recommend the Chester Grosvenor to everyone and anyone, particularly if you are celebrating something and want a memorable experience. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. "

"Very friendly staff and lovely restaurant/ bar. Bit confusing as a walking couple arriving at the station and trying to find the hotel but when leaving found the easy route back to the train station. If researched better would have been easy."
