"A fantastic place to stay. The location was perfect, country walks from the doorstep and the coast 9 miles away. A small shop a few miles away and a pub within a mile. Woodpeckers is clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need. The enclosed garden was a bonus. Sitting in the conservatory looking across the countryside was calm and peaceful. Overall a great place. We would definitely return and recommend."

The grounds were not huge but are very pretty.Me and my husband booked for our first family getaway away with our baby and dog. "We had a wonderful weekend at Cleve Cottage! The house is so beautifully decorated, it felt like staying in a boutique hotel but with all the comforts of home. Positioned in the prettiest part of Lewes and within walking distance of the high street and train station we could not fault the location, we were worried about the lack of parking but the owners left us parking permits and getting parked near the house was never a problem.
