"The place wasn’t bad, but there’s a mistake in the description of the house — it’s actually a B&B. The owner sleeps in the living room, and it should be clearly stated that he stays in the same house. The house is small, and if you book it for a family of six, it feels cramped. Honestly, I felt uncomfortable knowing the owner was sleeping in the living room. I thought I had booked the entire house, but that wasn’t the case."

"Absolutely spot on all round. A lovely house in an ideal and peaceful spot on Isis lake. It’s clean, airy and has a lovely terrace to sit on overlooking the lake. A short walk to the playground, tennis courts and short cut to South Cerney. We stayed initially as 2 adults and a 2 year old which was very spacious and then 4 adults and a 2 year year old which was a little cosier but absolutely fine. "We stayed here for just under a week and really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was just as discribed and very warm and comfortable. There was fresh milk in the fridge and some Welsh cakes next to the kettle which made us feel very welcomed. The only criticism would be that the welcome pack/instruction cover was torn and falling apart which spoilt the first impression. There were no instructions for the washing machine and there were a lot of dusty cobwebs - I don't think the cleaner ever looked...
