Comfortable and quiet just off the A24, a short distance from Worthing in a small village. Lots of food options within walking distance

Nice pub. And B and B. But 4 stars is way to much. Findon is a lovely village to stay, so overall a nive experience.

Terrific 500 year heritage property worth seeing as a past local coaching inn. Owner and staff are as friendly as can be and very helpful, the food was excellent, modest room size. You are well taken care of and the village is one of a kind in the region, easy bus transport to Worthing and Brighton. I recommend the Village House and will stay again.

Wouldn’t book again.

When checking in I was asked for my payment card details even though my stay was prepaid. When asked why, reply was “It’s just policy.” I don’t like giving my card details without a good reason. A bit stand-offish. Was left wondering what they might charge me for without my consent. Room was in good condition, although beware if you’re tall because door frames are low and I banged my head several times on them. Shared bathroom and toilet in good condition. Clean enough. Small car park.
