"We spend 4 days in Zhangjiajie/Wulingyuan. The hotel was perfect. Walking distance to park entrance. The hotel staff was very friendly and always helpful. (Forgot my mobile charger and they gave me one for the whole stay) Especially Joanna (English speaking) helped us a lot with transfers etc. The breakfast is a good mix of western and Chinese food. We also ordered food for room service, it was very good. The rooms are very big and the beds are spacious. "

The road to that entrance of the park is a dirt bumpy road with lots of twists and turns; one that will jar you around for sure But once you get there you’re welcomed by a wonderful staff and a great little hotel. "This hotel is a beautiful old building with spacious peaceful courtyards. The location is great. However, it is very rundown - I'm not talking about faded elegance - I'm talking about neglect and poor management. "Overall a very good place to stay. Very close to the National Forest attractions. Staff will need translator to communicate. They can’t understand English but they are very helpful and friendly. Special mention to the waitress Li Ping on our floor. She was very helpful and took care of use very well. "
