"The room was absolutely gorgeous, very clean and had the amenities needed. The shower was absolutely amazing oh my days. Lovely staff, all pleasant. Spa was absolutely spot on, so relaxing. Breakfast was delicious. Evening meal was delicious too. "

"It was a very good stay, with a real sense of luxury throughout, including the restaurant. The team looked after me well, and I made use of the gym, which was impressive for a hotel. I would definitely stay there again."

"Friendly and polite reception staff, was Paulette breakfast for £12 Bathroom was ok, little dated and bit grubby. Bed was comfortable, th floor a little creaky. WiFi was ok. Woke up early and walked over to breakfast but was too early so had to sit and wait. For £12 breakfast tasted bland, the toast machine wasn’t on and coffee was bitter. Requested an iron and that did come over quickly although she didn’t knock she was gonna open the door herself so luckily I was decent an heard so opened the door myself."

"Hotel is welcoming of pets but dog friendly rooms are on the second floor or above and there's no lift so it's a trek during the night to take your dog downstairs to do it's business."

"Hotel grounds were lovely. Booked mainly to use the gym but it was £20 extra and didn’t open till 8am (so not ideal if staying for business - but I should’ve checked prior). Bathrooms could do with a refresh. "

"Room was spacious with a huge bed. Styling of the room was really cool and it was immaculate. Bathroom was great with a big shower. Right next door to motorway services with a McDonald's and Costa. Staff are really friendly with a laid-back vibe. I wasn't expecting much but this hotel is amazing. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Plentiful, easy parking - just enter reg on check in. Great helpful polite staff, from reception to dinner to breakfast. Small room with smaller bathroom - but perfectly fine for 1 night. Room 12 west wing - the heating/radiator/pipes make a dreadful loud humming, goes off at 9pm thankfully but does come back on at 6am (despite staff saying 7am) - not ideal if you value a lie in! "
