"Hotel was great. My wife likes it. Stayed two nights but we didn’t do much inside the hotel. Clerks were all friendly and helpful but I hope the concierge personnel could be a bit more friendly with smiles besides of providing information - too robotic to us. We tried their Japanese buffet which was beyond our expectations, not a fancy one but great. I also like those servers who helped us with Taxi and luggages, nice and helpful. Overall, a great hotel to stay with."

"Entire mountain is hotel property with amazing history and large garden and great view of Taipei City, Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Buffet at the hotel is sumptuous and very tasty and the best buffet I have ever encountered. "

"Hyatt has taken the former Novotel and marginally upgraded it. Novotel was already very good, but Hyatt is better for a number of details, especially the quality of the breakfast, expensive but very good."
