"Great location to get into Yosemite South Gate entrance. Oakhurst has plenty of restaurants and other stores that you may need. South Gate is great for seeing the Mariposa grove, Glacier Point and Tunnel View. Don’t miss Wawona with its historical trail and covered bridge. "

"Oakhurst is an older place, but it has large rooms with clean, comfortable beds for a reasonable price, which is just what we needed after hiking all day. It also has a nice pool and a surprisingly good free breakfast. The only negative is probably the old fashioned air conditioner. It works great, but you can't set a temperature; you just set it to warmer or colder on a dial, and it was a little hard to get it just right. The view of the property from the street isn't impressive, but it is just fine and a good deal for a trip to Yosemite! "

"This hotel was great especially for our family with little children! Our kids loved the breakfast especially the waffles. There was even a playground for them to play on although it was a bit weathered. The staff was absolutely great especially Tracie who was helpful our first day and made our check in quick after seeing our daughter get hangry. The rooms were clean and had 3 beds which worked great for me. The microwave and fridge were a little older as well but did their job. My wife loved the hot tub and said it was super hot (which she loved), we didn’t get to try the pools cause we were tired from swimming in Yosemite. I just wish we could’ve stayed longer as we enjoyed our stay! "

"We loved every minute of our stay here. The Explorer Cabins were so nice and comfortable and we enjoyed the main Tenaya hotel grounds as well. Loved the pool and the food at Jackalopes. "

"Cute place about 15 mins away from the south entrance of the park. And if you need groceries or dine out options, about 20 mins away from Oakhurst. Staff was super helpful and friendly. I had a late check in bc I stayed late in the park, and the staff was accommodating. I would stay here again. "

"We came to Oakhurst to visit musician friends and to join them in their weekly jazz band gig at a local pizza parlor. Did the same last summer, stayed here, and had no hesitation about booking a room here again. Hotel's wi-fi was a bit wonky the afternoon we checked in, but later that evening and the next morning it was fine -- and fast."
