I found this property through the internet and it lived up to the good reviews. I arrived mid-week and the place was almost empty. I understand that during the high season it is completely full. I enjoyed the peace and the employees seemed to pay extra attention to me. The property has a lot of trees and I felt relaxed as soon as I got there. The room was nice enough, but basic. Hotel rooms and grounds are well laid out. Even when raining all day, it is nice to walk along the grounds, in covered corridors, with umbrellas. Staff is very helpful and entire experience from check in to checkout was wonderful. Dining room staff at both restaurants is very attentive. Pool is great, rooms are very clean, spa is good, Friday disco was fun, most evenings there is live piano player and singer who is very entertaining.

Clean and spacious rooms with neat bathrooms. Prompt and courteous service staff who speak multiple languages.

We had a terrific time at the Taj Wellington Mews. This was our 4th time staying here, and every time the staff at the Wellington exceed our expectations. The location is terrific, the rooms are clean and spacious and the food is excellent. We will be back again.

Nice hotel in excellent location in front of Arabian Sea. Location is upscale. Hotel is clean. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast severed with lots of items. If I will go Mumbai this is the place I will stay again.

Nice rooms & great stay

Great hotel, staff was very friendly and helpful. Its not a huge hotel but the rooftop bar is amazing. Definitely recommend going up for a drink and an appetizer. The remodeled room was nice but with the smog you don't really get a view of the ocean..

This is an old style hotel in a quiet environment within a walking distance from Gate of India and close to main railway station. Staff very nice and cooperative. Good breakfasts but focused on local people. Do not make use of their offer for airport transfer as it is at least 5 times more expensive than prepaid taxi or Uber.
