"This is an old hotel with lots of character in the centre of the village. Due to its location, it's super noisy in the summer if you have your windows open. You need to have the windows open because the summers are very hot here. There are rooms with a courtyard view, ask for one of those if the noise bothers you. Unfortunately, when we asked to switch rooms and the night clerk couldn't have been more rude. The clerk we dealt with earlier said that there were lots of rooms available. ...

"Good hotel if you're just looking for a place to sleep, since you’ll probably be out exploring most of the time. It’s not a 5-star property, but it does the job for a night or two. Staff were friendly and the location is spot on — about a 10–15 minute walk to the lake and the center of Thun. Parking is available right next to the hotel and it’s affordable, but make sure to have some Swiss Franc coins on you."

"We booked this a couple of hours before we arrived as we are driving to France. This has to be one of the best stays we've had in any hotel. The village itself is gorgeous and very quaint. The hotel is immaculate and full of character and charm. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The spa was unexpected and we had it all to ourselves.
