We had a very pleasant one-night stay at ibis Faro. Extremely convenient for the airport, clean and comfortable, and exactly the reliable standard you expect from ibis. Perfect for an overnight stay before or after a flight. Would happily stay again."
"This is a bedroom in a unit w other bedrooms that other travelers can book. There is a small shared bathroom.
This might be OK for young travelers, but I would not recommend it for a family.
Upon arrival we found the front door unlocked and propped open with a rock, which made us feel unsafe as anyone could have entered the unit.
We had to carry our luggage two flights of stairs and found an open foyer with the doors to the bedrooms and shared bathroom.

"Scrambled eggs at breakfast were cold unfortunately, they should be kept warm.. otherwise breakfast was adequate for a small inexpensive hotel.
The one thing that ruined the look of our room were the internal doors, otherwise it was fine.

"This was a proper Oasis in the middle of the mountains. We had no idea what to expect as we arrived in the dark but Francisco had been very helpful on whatsapp before arriving and our late arrival (after midnight) was no problem. When we awoke in the morning our breath was taken away at how beautiful the location was and even though we were sadly only staying one night we managed a swim in the lovely pool and Francisco bought lovely fresh breads and coffee for breakfast. "It is a modest and budget friendly accommodation. Located just 10 mins from the bus terminal at the city centre. Shops and restaurants are all close by. I have found a modest abode for my subsequent trips to Faro Portugal 🇵🇹. It is highly recommended for budget travellers and families. It has a kitchen with microwave and fridge and a canteen. Toilets and bathrooms are clean and well maintenance."
