"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at The Tranquil House Inn in Manteo while we explored the Outer Banks. The rooms and service were great, and the location right on the water in downtown Manteo was perfect. Manteo has a charming downtown that offers plenty of shops and attractions without feeling too touristy. We also really enjoyed the light breakfast offerings each morning and the staff were so friendly and helpful."

"Second stay without any hot tubs!! Tried to use indoor pool/hot tub - advertised open until 11:00 but at 10:00 security was closing "because it closes soon." Housekeeping was knocking on our door right after 8am despite checkout by 10am, and tried to enter twice - glad we used chain lock!"
