"All staff very welcoming and informative, nothing too much trouble, dining room/breakfast was first class, pity the same can't be made for the bathroom whitch is very small,and was let down by bodged repairs, the towel rail had an external wire coming from the thermostat to the socket and was taped up with black tape, not very reassuring, in the brochure it states two minutes from the lakes, a bit optimistic took me nearly four in a car."

"We had a great 6 day stay at the Damson Dene. All the staff are super friendly. Had a couple of SPA treatments with Sharon, they were amazing and so reasonable priced. The food in the hotel was superb. The breakfast was plentiful and the evening meals were delicious. The only issue we had was with housekeeping.
