"Staff extremely cheerful and helpful"

"Arrived late afternoon and were greeted by a ni e young lady. Quickly shown to room. She even carried our bags for us. A spotless room, nicely decorated with lovely walk on shower. Comfortable beds with fresh clean linen and choice of towels. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal at competitive prices followed. A couple of well presented and tasty trad ales finished the night. "Room was comfortable however the bathroom was opposite the room. This made going to the toilet in the night a little awkward. Didn’t use the shower as the shower head looked rusty. The breakfast was delicious and piping hot Cooked to perfection. "

"The staff are friendly and helpful. The building is rather old but full of character and with a lovely decor. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the station, very convenient. One thing to be aware of is that they don't start serving breakfast until 8.30am – something to keep in mind if you're planning an early start. "
