No doubt it needs some money spending but also a little imagination. The bar for instance was as welcoming as a saturday night physiology lecture….. just bland, no tv, no happy hour, and no atmosphere. "

"Stayed with my husband for an event locally, so one of the nearest hotels to Madeley. Pretty pub which gets quite busy. We stayed in a fab room at the front overlooking the road. We didn't hear any noise though. Quite a large room with tea making facilities/biscuits. Good bed size probably, king, not as comfy as some I've stayed in but ok. Good sized bathroom with separate shower. The pub serves food and we ordered bbq ribs, they did state as we'd not booked a table we would have to eat...

"Lovely old building full of character. Room was spacious, comfortable and presented in a way becoming the age of the proprerty. I ate in the restaurant in the evening and it was OK, nothing special though Staff were all friendly and helpful I would stay there again"
