"It was in the centre of the city and close by to all areas. That was a bonus - and probably why it was so expensive. There was room for better housekeeping however - we had to ask for more towels - water did not drain very well from the sink- there wasn’t spare toilet roll and when I had a shower - no shower gel. Good variety in the breakfast buffet - but ordering eggs could be troublesome. They would arrive after you had finished eating your full english. The croissants could be fresher too -...

"Fabulous hotel in a great location. Our room was nice just the loos don’t flush properly. Breakfast, bar food & dinner excellent. Good food at sensible prices. Only moan is public loos where toilets didn’t flush, smelled horrible (dirty mop/not clean) and it gave a dreadful first impression on arrival. Staff excellent, Jackie London "
