"It’s a beautiful small property with a very cool design. Fairly rustic though and with a bit of a farmhouse feel and therefore maybe not for everyone. Managers and owners Giacomo and Paola are both fantastic. Giacomo in particular was a superstar, passionately speaking about the wines of the winery and the region, giving us great restaurant recommendations and really going above and beyond with a smile. "La Malandrina Apts. is a great alternative to some of the costly hotels in Taormina. The location is great. Only a short walk to the city center. "This is a wonderful little hotel spotlessly clean and modern. Excellent location close to many bars and restaurants. 20 min bus ride into Taormina for $2. Manager Giuseppe was outstandingly helpful and arranged a private Etna and wine tasting tour which was fantastic! Excellent wifi. Breakfast is at a little cafe next door with wonderful fresh croissants paninis or omelettes and delicious cappuccinos. Highly recommend this hotel."

"The most incredible hotel in Taormina. I have stayed in the other two and the Palazzo Vecchio is by far the best. It is situated beautifully above and set back from the main promenade and has the finest rooftop terrace I have experienced. The staff - especially the restaurant were wonderfully accommodating. Our room was gorgeous, large and incredibly well-furnished. Bravo!"
