BEWARE!! 20 pictures of proof, this is no exaggeration: Bugs, horrible fly problems, multiple water leaks, non-working dishwasher, shower and faucet heads, and the most disgusting and dirty bathtub and floors I’ve ever seen in my entire rental history. I spent my first day there setting bug and fly traps, buying cleaning products and cleaning, and swatting bugs from my elderly cats food so he could eat. Other than a very responsive property owner, a nice TV and decent bed, my stay was a total disaster. The area was not good and I tried to leave the same night that we checked in due to the horrible conditions. Because I am a trusting and kind person, and took the advice I received from Vrbo, I got stuck there for 4 nights with no where to go and no money to leave. I spent every day on the phone with them several times a day, and then finally gave up and borrowed money to get a hotel. I wasn’t reimbursed for 1/4 of the total cost from the owner, which was over 2,000.00!! I barely slept and was trapped there for 4 nights. I was scheduled to stay for a month. If I was a judge and jury, I would have not only received full reimbursement, but also something extra for the emotional, physical and financial toll this has cost me. I told Vrbo that they shouldn’t allow this place to be advertised without a full inspection, but I see it’s still there. I would not have written this warning and bad review had they been fair and promptly refunded at minimum, 100 percent of my money.
