Excellent staff, very helpful to this US couple. Can't emphasize that enough! Only real issue was noise level during the night from the courtyard. The windows were not as soundproof as we would have hoped, given the nightly noise level.

Great location right in Placa Reial! Our room was very comfortable and clean and had a small balcony facing the Placa. We weren't bothered by the noise but if you are sensitive to noise, then you might need ear plugs, which they did provide. It's a fun area to be in with lots going on. The staff were always super helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We liked the staff. Very friendly and recognized my wife's birthday with a bottle of Spanish wine. Unfortunately it is on one side on a famous square which has 10 restaurants. We ate at 3 of the restaurant's. However the people party in the square until 6 am. I saw police there ,maybe to quiet them. It was very difficult to sleep.Our Room on second floor faced the square

Perfect location, a must stay!

This hotel was in the PERFECT location! So much to do right outside the door, food, shopping, everything was right there. The hotel room itself was beautiful, had everything we needed and the staff was super friendly and help our bags even the day of check out so we could explore before leaving.

Nice boutique hotel

We stayed for 3 nights and loved it. The location was perfect for us. If you are sensitive to noise you may want to skip this location but we are used to living in a noisy area. They did supply ear plugs in the room. We would stay here again!

Central location and comfortable room

DO Placa Real is located in the heart of center of Barcelona. Expect crowds in the area but it also means that restaurants and other amenities are easily accessible. We found we could walk easily or take the metro easily. The hotel was very clean and provided everything we needed including robes and towel warmers.

30th anniversary trip

The hotel was in a great location. The staff was amazing. The room served it's purpose, but was very small for people traveling for 2 weeks with 4 suitcases.

The hotel is excellent, with extremely attentive staff that truly cares about making your stay memorable and comfortable. We were not crazy about the neighborhood, it was too touristy and gimmicky. Although with a couple of minutes there’s a spectacular restaurant called Viana which is excellent and would compare to many Michelin star establishments.
