"Male here 42, took my 68 yo mother with me at the end of July during full summer time. We are from Miami, USA. We know heat and humidity. This iQ hotel had perfectly working air conditioning that you can control the temperature yourself, the guess, from inside your room. Read that twice, slowly. I have traveled alone before to Rome and had issues in other hotels with the AC. Not here. Not here! Everything else is immaculate. Excellent hotel, the space, the restroom, clean, and quiet. Mattress is comfortable. Beds were single size, but it is okay. We are not in Vegas with Queen size standard beds. This is Europe!...We even used the Jacuzzi on the top floor. It was not heated but it does bubble up, fun. Stuff in the fridge was free! What! 2 beers, water and juice. Great. It also had a safe in the room large for a laptop to fit in. Location is central. Everything works. I am the guy that would sleep on the floor on a brick and can battle it through, but If I took my mother to this hotel, I am damn sure you will be fine and not regret staying in this location."
"Hotel Locarno is an absolute gem. Steeped in history and maintaining an air of grace and splendour that is rare these days. This is a true grand dame. Impeccable service, impeccable beauty, impeccable cleanliness, impeccable cocktails, an impeccable sleep and an impeccable breakfast. I’ve been aching for service like this again, never change. "
