Top Bastion Square Hotel Reviews

MYN in Rabat

10/10 Excellent

"I had an amazing stay, the people there went the extra mile to help me have a comfortable stay. The hotel itself was clean and modern with an excellent location"

The Xara Palace Relais & Chateaux

8/10 Good

"Very friendly check in and reception. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast from great look out point. Set right in the ancient city which is great but made parking a challenge (park in free city lots/street). Breakfast was a slight let down for this price point. Service could be slow, forgetting items. Overall concept rather fussy with lots of served small items rather than choice/buffet. Also it grates to have paid a significant B&B rate only to be charged top up amounts for cooked items like eggs Benedict. Food in in house Trattoria restaurant is ok rather than excellent (you are paying a location premium) I’d suggest eating in Rabat"

Estrella Lodging

10/10 Excellent

"Booked this hotel for my mum and sister. Great location to get to the History sites of Rabat and Mdina. Breakfast was good and staff very friendly and helpful."

Corinthia Palace Malta

8/10 Good

"This hotel is in the middle of a largely residential area but the rest of the island is easily accessible via Uber/Bolt taxis at very reasonable prices. We only had breakfast at the hotel which was very good with a full choice available. It is worthwhile walking around the districts adjoining the property where there are several villages wth small bars and restaurants . We found the local people to be very friendly. Many of the buildings are very historic and beautiful."

Mdina • Annie’s Place • Sweet 300Y.O. Townhouse with Norman Arch Inside Walls

Howard House Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent staff, Grace & Richard looked after us brilliantly, Breakfast was fantastic & had everything you could want. The hotel is right across the road from a bus terminus taking you into Valetta or anywhere else on the island. Behind the bus terminus is the ancient walled city of Mdina . Behind the hotel is Rabat with its beautiful streets , bar/restaurants, tourist attractions, shops & ornate churches."

De Rohan B&B

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely loved my stay here, room was super comfortable and clean, amazing amenities including free snacks, beautiful sunny pool, Netflix on the TV, and the buffet breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. Its also a very convenient location, close to the village shops and restaurants. This was my favourite place I stayed while in Malta, would recommend to anyone."
