"A relatively new hotel near the centre of Ipswich. Nothing special and ok for a travelodge. The rooms are fairly small and there is not much room to spread out with your luggage. The biggest negative is the lack of free WiFi in the rooms. This is not acceptable in a modern hotel."
"There was no bedside light (despite there being two bedside tables) and no rubbish bin in the room. The curtains did not close properly. One window had a crack in it and there is no double glazing so the road outside was noisy. It was very hot, but we kept the windows closed to try to reduce the noise (no aircon). The staff were very helpful however (having moved us from a different room as the bathroom light wasn't working in that one)."
"Comfortable stay at this quirky pub. Rooms comfortable but need updating. Lovely meal when we arrived early evening and a good breakfast was served. Definitely worth a visit "
"Absolutely gorgeous stay! Would definitely return and recommend to others. Would just like to see more option on the menu in the barn. A pasta and/or steak dish would be great. "

"Friendly staff, comfortable room and bed, quiet. Convenient for the railway station, but also cheap car park nearby(£5 for 24 hours). Plus, breakfast and supper are avaiable within the hotel. "
Delightful fully equipped 3bedroom townhome in Ipswich centre St Nicholas street
6/10 Okay
"The picture displayed was not how this property was. Perfect location for what we needed but the property hadn’t had a decent clean.. dust on various sections. All carpets need replacing - in a shocking state. There were 4 false widow spiders in the top room - these were inside the property!!… we killed two but others impossible to catch. I slept on the sofa on the last eve not wanting to get nasty bite. No plug in middle sink, no working olug in kitchen sink. The bathrooms were well decorated and relatively new and it was clear the property was part of a renovation. In time it could look brilliant. The bath mat was mouldy. The firearm was bleeping on arrival but the landlord Michael was very attentive and sent someone around to disconnect it. This wasn’t replaced, but we did have two working alarms on the other floors. The car parking was great. I was expecting the picture above… a picture of the exact property should be visible. I would stay again if it was cleaner and carpets replaced. Certainly the attic room needs spider intervention. The blind in the attic room didn’t work, pole had broken off, you couldnt darken the room. You will see from the picture on the living room that it’s wasn’t the advertised room looking at the sofa. "
"Lovely helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and spacious. Great location with walking distancenof the train station and city centre. Would highly recommend "
