"This was our third stay at the Marrakesh. We like the location which is walking distance between central Broadbeach or Surfers. The bowling club is also very close which we like as we are bowlers."

"Price vs location was great, tram directly across road, surfers paradise and the like was only 2 or 3 stops away, pool area great, stayed in a corner room was big and came with pullout bed which was ideal. Overall would definitely recommend "

"The room was clean, view was great and the indoor and outdoor pools and spa were amazing. Service was fantastic and the location was right across the road from the beach which was a bonus. Check in was quick and easy. Negative was the lock on the bathroom and toilet door was broken. Wardrobe was spacious however the two sliding doors on the wardrobe didn’t open up wide enough to hang clothes in. Had a safe but we didn’t use it. Having the "

"Breakfast was good, but it is very basic. Don't expect multi cuisine. Room is very old. No microwave, no water provided if you did not book it through Accor. Beach view is good with a small balcony. Hotel is very basic. Not even par with Novotel, though Accor keep them in same range."

"Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The apartment facilities are well-maintained and comfortable. A special mention to Rachel at reception, who was kind and very helpful throughout our stay. One downside was an incident at the pool area. Two other guests approached my children directly and told them that an adult needed to be present in the spa pool, even though I was seated nearby by the swimming pool and supervising them. My children had only briefly gone into the spa pool to warm up before swimming. While I understand safety concerns, it would have been more appropriate for the guests to speak to me directly rather than addressing the children."

"Room was extremely loud all night, the floor in the room crackles underfoot. Some of the lights didnt work. The shower was mouldy and the seals on the door were broken. The sauna and spa were overrun with unsupervised children who repeatedly left the sauna door open "as it was too hot". They were snorkeling and going under the water splahing and throwing toys and balls. Was definitely not hilton level staff were hard to contact as they were short staffed. Pool area never had towels and had to repeatedly go to reception to get one."

"Very nice rooms, but the cleanliness is a concern though especially the kitchen. We had to run everything in the dishwasher first as all of glassware were very greasy and full of finger marks. Forks and knives were not clean either. It might be from the last guest, however the apartment staff should check the cleanliness before checking in another guest. "
