"The hotel is right in the heart of Queen Street Mall, and everything you need is just a few minutes’ walk away — very convenient!You can park your car at the Uptown shopping complex or use the hotel’s valet parking. The staff are friendly and will park your car for you. Best of all, if you park at Uptown, the hotel offers a discount on the parking ticket.I loved the comfy bed, and having breakfast by the window at Lennard’s restaurant while looking out onto the street was a great way to start the day.I really enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Regency and will definitely be back! "

"Room is big but old especially the toilet. No complimentary water for entry room. Location is decent, walkable 10mins to main street. Parking ample space. All tap leaking water slowly even when fully closed, the tap and the bathtub. Then even the toilet bowl was leaking water so it couldn't be flushed anymore. Made a complaint to front desk and they shifted us to a new upgraded room and mentioned waiver on carpark. Had to repack and upgraded room was pretty much the same except higher floor and the toilet seems newer. However instead of bathtub, it is now a shower only. Shower water temperature fluctuates greatly. Next day front desk said no carpark waiver and had to check with multiple people to verify our issues. They asked questions like what issue we faced and what time we changed our room. Information like these could be easily found within their system like when key card was issued. In the end it was eventually waived but it was toned and worded in a way that they did a one time special exemption for us and we should be grateful. Horrible experience and if it was such a big deal, don't offer such things in the first place. "

"There was no WiFi for 2 days. The one breakfast we had was not great for the price, you had to pay extra or a decent coffee. The house keeping was hit and miss. They wouldn’t let me have a little proper milk for a cup of tea in my room. The view from my balcony was a busy main road and a load of bins. But the staff were mostly friendly and helpful. There was also free parking. I think there are plans for updating which it needs, in our room there was no where to store clothes as in chest of drawers, and bedside able had no shelf or drawers. "

"I was pleasantly surprised with our stay at Cosmo, we were in Brissy for a trade show and found it difficult to secure reasonably priced accommodation. We found the Cosmo at less than half the price of others. It is a fantastic location, it is a very short walk to the ferry terminal, a few minutes from the train station and an achievable walk to the city. The room was not brand new but had everything we needed for our stay. It was comfy, clean and the staff were friendly and helpful."
