"Our room was musty. Made me ill and dizzy for my last two days. Elevator only worked half the time. Thank goodness we were on the 2nd. Floor. For a handicap person. + Side. Close to the beach and restaurants. Good food in the city. Pinks was great. And the fishing pier was relaxing. Very quiet."

"The room was cleaned when we requested and the property/hot tub was very nice. There was only one staff member that made us feel a bit off. Sort of like we weren't supposed to be there. Everything else a fine. "

"Parking was difficult. Apparently, our room didn't qualify for driveway parking; we had to park on the street. Got a good spot upon arrival, but we were hesitant to drive for fear of losing a parking spot on a street with few first come street parking. Nice elderly ladies, one told me she was in her 80's, cleaned and stocked continental breakfast. Easy to talk with, but kept telling me how exhausted she was having to work. I felt sorry for her, but... The Old Porch room was unexpectantly VERY small. Good for a single traveler, not a couple. We were reassured to see the cockroach traps set."

"Location is fantastic! Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Balcony is amazing! Kitchen is nicely stocked. However, it was so filthy upon check in, we had to request another cleaning. The sheets were pilled and gross. The cleaning and changing of bedding was done quickly and with a quick reply from management! The beds are super uncomfy. The cushions on inside chairs are super stained and dirty. Both of these had been previously put in reviews, but we figured there had been changes since those reviews had been left, especially since the property manager had replied those things would be taken care of in reviews. Overall this place has lots of potential, but definitely needs updates and a good deep cleaning (including baseboards, walls, cushions, corners, etc). The mattresses certainly need replaced, as well. "

"The location is fantastic and parking is available. Just be aware there is not a freezer. There’s a small dorm size refrigerator. There is not a washer and dryer. However, the manager replaced the towels halfway through the week when I requested. The Internet can be a little spotty. The bed is very comfortable and the air conditioning works great. It’s an old school beach vibe house. Truly, though the location is great"

"We loved having Chico Feo across the street. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and listening to live music. You also could not beat the location as we were able to walk to everything! "
