"The Tempo hotel is very modern and up to date, kept very clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The king corner room with Times Square view, was spacious for an NYC hotel, bed very comfortable and bathroom was luxuriously appointed. We were in room 2202, above the heart of Times Square. It is obviously filled with light from the billboards, and noisy from the crowd and street performers below. That is what you sign up for when you choose to stay that close to the Square."

"The place is convenient and walkable to the attractions. But the heater in the room was making very loud noise almost every two hours and kept waking us up. We told the staff in the morning and we came back at night the staff said they fixed already but the noise still came back the same."

"Great location, offered all we needed. The check in took really long. It is a very large hotel, and elevators were a bit strange and it could take a while to get there. Mattresses were top notch. Great for big groups but not a cozy hotel."

"The Pod is very conveniently located in Times Square. I liked the security of having two elevators (one for getting up to the lobby, another for getting to guest rooms). I didn't hear/deal with much guest noise; most of what I heard was typical outside NYC. The rooms (or at least the one I was in) don't have refrigerators or microwaves, so it's not super easy to keep leftovers or any food/snacks you'd bring with you to the hotel. There is no on-site parking, but there is a parking garage less than a block away - validated parking, but it's still quite expensive. I'd stay here if it was a quick night away, but for a long week, it started feeling very small very fast."

"Temas importantes, colchones de las camas muy pero muy deteriorados, pésima, casi nula presión de agua en la regadera y no servía el Aire Acondicionado/calefacción. De lo demás: Los cuartos están viejos y MUY mal mantenidos. La primer recepcionista con muy mala actitud, no servía uno de los elevadores y eran esperas de 15 min, en el cuarto no servía el teléfono, no hay toalleros en el baño, no proveen secadora de pelo ni folleto de "no molestar", el porta papel roto, no aspiraron (estuvo en la alfombra a la vista la misma M&M roja desde que llegue hasta que salí), no hay vasos. Un día llegamos y las camas tendidas pero las almohadas en la alfombra, otro día dejaron artículos de limpieza en el buró. Cada vez que me acerque a la recepción había un cliente quejándose del servicio y de los cuartos. Lo único bueno del hotel es la ubicación, inmejorable. NO lo recomiendo, honestamente fue una pésima experiencia mi estadía."

"The “water view” room that I paid extra for did not have a view with all of the construction. Elevator took forever, the floor in the room was sticky and there was nowhere to sit for breakfast. 😢"

"The pictures were deceiving, if you get a basic room they will put you in the bottom floors which are old and had a musty smell. In order to get a room like the one in the pictures you have to pay an extra "premium" fee. I did because the bottom rooms were horrible. In our "premium" room the AC was broken and the maintenance had to come and fix it, he was rude and said we just had to adjust the thermostat. When we told him of course we tried that, he right away pulled out batteries from his pocket and replaced the batteries on the thermostat. The only areas that were decent was the view from the premium room and the desk staff. "
