"The Property was beautiful! When we walked in, the first utterance out of our mouths was "Wow!" Street parking was easy. The room "The Chalet" that we stayed in was spacious with many amenities and was spotless. The bed was very comfortable as well! And being on the third story, we got our stair steps in for our trip! "The helpful, friendly staff and the old world elegance made me feel welcome and pampered as soon as i arrived. The location is perfect for activities planned in the loop or River North area. It's an easy walk to State Street, Daley Plaza, the Mart and the Theater District. The Legato Lounge is a perfect place to relax and people watch with a cup of coffee from the very nice morning tea and coffee bar, an afternoon tea and scone or an evening cocktail I have stayed twice now and made the decision that it will be my go-to downtown hotel. As a solo traveler I felt very comfortable and love the convenient location. "
