"Excellent location if you want to stay in the Presqu’île area, which we did. Unlike many Ibis hotels, which are modern purpose-built hotels with budget-sized rooms, this one was an older converted building with larger rooms; as a family of four, the extra space was unexpected and nice. The hotel is sandwiched between the Perrache train station and the central arterial road, but the room was quiet and peaceful. The Brasserie Georges next door is a local institution and a must."

Not clean! Breakfast was terrible! They charges €34 for each person but for nothing. ! No variety!!!! Even basic!!!"

"Excellent staff, clean room. Very good location. The AC was not available. It was unbearably hot. We were given a fan that, sadly, did not make much of a difference. Slept with the windows open. People were partying on the sidewalk below. "

"The rooms were ok pretty clean but for being so new already had grout missing in the tile. If you are staying for a rugby match 10/10 on location. If there for the city and you do not have a car it is not an ideal location. Luckily we had a rental car so it was perfect for us."

"Bedroom with small kitchenette area. Reasonably equipped for those staying 3 or 4 days and not wanting to eat out every day. They have a breakfast buffet for an extra cost, which we did not use. Beds very comfortable. A bit outside the old town and tourist area…..would need to take public transit, which is right in front…..but then the cost of accommodation is lower than that if you are right downtown in the prime area."

"our room didn’t have fridge, phone, coffeemaker, safe, microwave, cups, water or even a box of tissue, absolutely nothing! Only one single ugly picture and a tiny TV set were hung on the walls. I have never seen such an empty and dirty hotel room in my entire life, even in the third world! "
