"The Essex was exceptionally clean! The rooms were all beautifully done and the bed was comfortable! We ate at the Blue Marlin for dinner , the food was excellent and the service too!"

"The rooms are fresh and spotlessly clean. Great views of the Annisquam River. Nice location outside of town. The staff was fantastic. We love the marina vibe. We stayed in January when the restaurant is only open a couple of days a week - we'll hit that up next time. We dined nearby at The Causeway - great local spot, small and BYOB."

"The room was clean, but the outside of the building our room was in, behind the inn, was run down and the back of the inn was in disrepair. Not a very pleasant experience. "

"The View was nice, relaxing and the bay was at the end of the driveway! The grocery store was great and had everything we needed. Also a few restaurants nearby as well. All within a 10 min or less drive. The home was very clean and had everything we needed all the way down to the crab steam pot. Train station nearby as well to go to Boston or Salem. All in all, it was a great stay!! "

"It’s a beautiful little apartment on the third floor of a gorgeous home. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint, and close to the ocean. There is also a delicious little breakfast spot a block away. The hosts were delightful. I’d love to stay again! "

"Open, bright and clean house with a great location a 5 min walk from the beach. The wrap-around porch was lovely for to sitting out. John was very responsive and checked in during my stay to see how everything was. Would definitely stay again!"
