The Blossom restaurant is worth visiting. The breakfast buffet is delicious, but the dinner is even better. My husband could not stop raving about the phenomenal steak he ate! While in Kyoto, I would definitely stay at the Blossom."

"The overall hotel is very nice with a great rooftop bar to end the night and very clean. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It is also walking distance to some of the best shopping we did the entire trip. Will stay here again for sure. "

"Rooms were kept in the best shape with all the modern conveniences you could ask for. Showers had great water pressure! Morning breakfast was wonderful with good variety of both Japanese and Western tastes. Staff were very professional and helpful. They helped when we didn't speak the best of Japanese when we stumbled over our pronunciation. There was a good mix of travelers passing through from all over. The train museum is just steps from the hotel, there's a Family Mart on the first floor and JR Train station also just steps away. It was 1 stop from Kyoto station so there is no reason to stay anywhere else with such a convenient location. "
