"5 Stars – Perfect Beach Getaway!We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beach house in Whalehead, Currituck! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotlessly clean—you could tell it’s very well cared for.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made cooking meals so easy and enjoyable. The large King bed in the master bedroom was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were fresh and high quality. It’s hard to overstate how clean and well-maintained the entire house was—it truly felt like a home away from home.The location in Whalehead was ideal: peaceful, family-friendly, and just a short walk to the beach. Whether you're looking for a relaxing retreat or a comfortable base for exploring the Outer Banks, this place is a perfect choice.Highly recommend—we're already planning our next visit!"

"The cottage was clean, comfortable, and close to the Currituck Lighthouse, Corolla Park, and restaurants. Lots of things to do in the area.Even though the weather wasn't great, we really enjoyed our stay at the cottage."

"AMAZING house and location. The layout of the house, number of bathrooms, size of living spaces and outdoor spaces as well as parking spots could not have been more perfect. The house itself is gorgeous and great walking proximity to the beach, coffee, yoga, bars and more.The ONLY downside was the property management, we had a few smaller issues with cleanliness when we arrived (hairs on pillow, wet towel left in bathroom, rusted tea kettle among a few others). I had reached out about these via Vrbo but never got a response. It honestly would not put me off staying here again, but as a guest I would have appreciated a response at the time."
"We really enjoyed our stay here! It was nice having so much space with all of the family. The kids enjoyed the pool and volleyball area. The house was clean and came with so much to do. Having the golf cart was amazing to drop the beach stuff off and the family. Sherrie was fabulous! We have never had a host to be so informative and communicative. She was very helpful and responded immediately. We highly recommend staying here and we will be staying again!!"
"Our room was clean and comfortable with views of the bay. The breakfast had a wide selection and one of the best continental breakfasts we've seen. The amenities are great with access to bikes and multiple pools. We definitely plan on coming back!"

"The house was cleaner than most beach houses I have been too and it had a fantastic pool and hot tub. The rrooms were really nice and two had an adjoining bathroom. the owner provided a document that provided everything you would need to know about the house and the area. The beach was just down a dirt road that was only traveled by those on the road and the beach was never really crowded and it was very clean. Not great for finding sea shells or sharks teeth but no rocks or anything but soft sand and even very little sea weed. pretty much only saw some a time or two over the week. The waves were great for boogie boarding. You are on the ouskirts of town so no heavy traffic but close enough to stores and grocery stores only a few miles down the road. Ihave been coming to the outer banks for probably 12 years maybe more and this was the nicest one we stayed at todate. "
