"Beautiful hotel and spa"

"After a day of travel nice to stop at the end of the day. Checkin was quick and easy. Travelling from Australia,, surprised the room didn’t have a bar fridge ( I didn’t check if in room details- lesson for me). I had the impression there was a hotel carpark . The carpark is part of the main carpark that includes a mini shopping centre- mainly fast food outlets. The first 2 hours free, but then 5gbp. It was an extra cost I hadn’t realised. My room was spotlessly clean, well-designed, and very comfortable. "I booked a single room which was basic but had everything I needed for a quick stopover. The hotel is on the flight path so expect to hear the planes! The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with outside seating . Food was good, restaurant staff very friendly. Just a tip (and nothing to do with the hotel) if you book a taxi at the airport from the only taxi supplier to the hotel and back , it’s going to cost best part of £50! "
