"Hotel was good and being next to the encounter made it very convenient. Rooms were good, could have just used a quick vacuum in the corners where stuff collects. Breakfast started at 6 which was great, but it wasn’t the greatest the day we were there. Would recommend staying here if doing the Ark encounter. Can stay parked there when doing the encounter instead of paying double at the encounter."

"It was a great first camping trip for the kids. The safari tent was well-heated, included all items we needed and had the perfect decor to make our stay welcoming. Some drawbacks were the mattress (needs a new, updated mattress so you don't roll into the middle), the close proximity to the interstate (the traffic noise at night was loud for us) and the EMF towers that were at the entrance of the campsite. The Icemaker was not working; the unit was frozen over with several inches of ice, so we bought bags of ice. No spices, like salt or pepper, as advertised.
