"The property is basic yet priced as though it’s something special. They can’t do much about the building, but they could provide good food, which they do not. Overall, I think this property is a poor choice and able to maintain high occupancy because of the lack of choices in the area."

"This Super 8 is very well situated for our trips to Sterling. Check-in was very efficient this time! Staff was friendly and helpful. We used smaller room on first floor with queen-sized bed. Bed was very comfortable. Larger rooms with king-sized beds are on the second floor. WiFi was very good and TV worked well. Breakfast has gotten more spartan (cereal, milk, apple juice, coffee, toast, and pastry). Parking was convenient."

"The property was beautiful. It was remote and the scenery was picturesque. The sound traveled oddly clear over the lake. We could make out distict voices from the house across the way although it was too far to see them. We didn't mind the noise, though. The problem was that there was no wifi, no bath towels, no hand towels, no toilet paper, no paper towels, and no broom. We had to go to the closest walmart 25 minutes away to buy these basic amenities for ourselves. There was a canoe and paddle...

"The view of the river is perfect. It was fun to watch the barges and boats go by as well as the wildlife. This is located on a quiet gravel road. We did have to create our own fire pit by the river, but it was worth it for the smores. The host reached out the day of check in and was able to deliver something that was missing that evening. The place was well kept and clean."

"The property was more private than we were anticipating. Very quiet neighborhood on a dead end gravel road. The house has it's own dock and boat launch, which was not expected. We brought our fishing boat, so it was perfect! There were a lot of backup supplies that came in handy, also. The house is a bit dated, but we did not mind; it did not affect our experience at all. A couple critiques: consider putting curtains on the windows (especially the bedrooms.) There is central AC, but the bedrooms...
