"When we arrived on Saturday late afternoon the pubs downstairs and in the neighbourhood were buzzing. I was initially concerned that it might be noisy but it was totally quiet up in the hotel rooms. The room was tasteful and cosy, loved the bathrobe and slippers and the great shower. Comfy bed, black out blinds. Fabulous breakfast. Parking is not provided and is fairly expensive locally."

"This place is a gem. Found via google search / Expedia. 10 out of 10 for everything. Service, food. The rooms were beautiful and excellent value for money. Perfect stop en-route to Southampton for cruising. Staff were so polite and accommodating. We arrived with 9 mins to spare before kitchen closed and we were served one of the best steak meals I have ever had. Brilliant! Cannot recommend this place enough. "
