"We were attended to by Dayana; we arrived at night, and she and the housekeeper were absolutely fantastic. The hotel is very modern, the rooms and bathrooms are clean and very spacious, with a lake view. The breakfast was incredibly varied and delicious. Covered parking is available. I would definitely return to this hotel."

"The view from the room is great. Breakfast is nice too. Only thing is the front desk leaves at 10pm and one night the lights were automatically on and off for a few times, I texted the staff. The next day I came back late and well past 10, I didn’t know if they will lock the door or not so let them know too by texting. The front desk person is from Romania, said I texted her two days in a row. She also said she already told me so when I checked in. The tone with her seems always hush. Meantime...

"Staff were very nice and helpful. Room was clean and modern. The hotel is about 10mins walk from the train station. It is manageable as there is no bus or taxi in the area. I would highly recommend this place. Small family hotel but very nice and very clean. "

"Albergo Sala was a unique experience in the small village of Valbrona. It was quiet and not much to do but that's what we were looking for. The staff were excellent and very helpful and the food was wonderful. The inn is historic and has been in the family for a few hundred years! As it is off the beaten track it is advisable to have a car as public transport is infrequent and challenging and taxi service is quite expensive. Aside from that it was a great place to stay a few days."
